Does not apply to my amazon purchase

I purchased the Square Trade 3 year warranty as recommended by Amazon, for a projection lamp for my TV. After I received the warranty I went on SQ Trade's website to register the item. Once I began the registration I had some questions so I called them. Through my discussions with the customer service rep (nice person)I discovered they did not cover the item (Projection Lamp)since it is considered a consumable. They did agree to refund the cost of the warranty. I guess my beef is with Amazon for enticing its customers to purchase the warranty that does not apply to the purchased item... How many people purchase Amazon suggested warranties for items that are not covered. I'm sure they get a kick back on each of the useless warranties. Way to go Amazon.

Best warranty for the best price

I have purchased a Square Trade warranty for most of my ebay purchases as most are used or refurbished and do not come with any replacement coverage.I also have many Square Trade plans on new products such as computers,cameras and electronics as the price and service can't be beat.I have filed two claims and both were settled with full payout within a few days.
Great service and a great price from very friendly and courteous people.I highly recommend Square Trade.

Best Deal on Warranties

I use SquareTrade on many of my new item and ebay purchases. When ever I have had an issue with a product, I knew that I could depend on SquareTrade to rectify the problem.

In fact I am currently in a claim situation with Squaretrade on a Seagate External Hard drive and they are giving me a credit for the full purchase price of the item.
