This has got to be one of the greatest companies out there. A friend turned me on to Square Trade, so since the warranties were so low in price, I started buying them for every new electronic toy I bought, mainly so I could sleep better at night knowing that just in case, I would be covered. It just so happens, last month I had to make a claim for a portable DVD player that stopped working just 1 month after the manufacturer warranty had ended. I called Square Trade and had them walk me through making the claim on line. Then, they emailed me a pre-paid UPS return label to send back the DVD player, then after they rec'd it on their end & determined it was indeed dead, I had the WHOLE ammount I paid for the player sent to my Paypal account within 4-5 days!
I have warranties through them from my $70 fax machine, all the way up to my $1,500 HDTV. Plus, you can usually find coupon codes for 20%-30% off the price of the warranty most of the time, which makes it even sweeter a deal.
Also, I have to say how awesome their customer service is. They are very knolegable & professional on the phone, and they answer their emails extremely promptly. To me, customer service is everthing knowadays, and Square Trade exceeds all my expectations.

I had purchased a warranty for an amplifier that was bought on eBay. The cost of the warranty was $28. 1-1/2 years later the amp went out. I followed the simple claims process on their web site and in less than 5 business days they paid out to me the original purchase price of the amp. I was extremely glad I purchased the warranty. If not I would have been looking at a minimum of $80 to repair the amp. Now I am able to purchase something new.
I am one extremely happy customer, so much that the next amp will have a SquareTrade warranty on it as well.

I bought Axion Dual screen portable DVD player, which of course only works with AC/car adapter. The reviews on it weren't very good, so I bought warranty. It went out after one use, and figured out for myself that it was car adapter.I tried to file claim and found it wasn't covered, and was told I could buy one at Best Buy! They were very polite and friendly, but be aware that when you purchase a product that includes accessories they are not covered.
